黄志麟 / Zhi Lin Ng 博士后 / Postdoctor
2022年毕业于伦敦大学皇家霍洛维学院获地球科学博士学位。主要研究领域是深水沉积学与古海洋学,专注的研究课题方向往底流沉积体系与构造影响;研究区域包括南中国海以及地中海。博士在 The Drifters 研究团队,等深流沉积学著名教授 F. Javier Hernández-Molina 指导下,论文是关于加的斯湾晚中新世底流沉积体系的演化,利用地震资料解释与钻井数据关联,揭示地中海与大西洋的海洋环流与水团交换的形态,以及对墨西拿盐度危机的影响。研究成果发表于 Marine and Petroleum Geology, Marine Geology, Geo-Marine Letters 地质学期刊。
Graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2022 with a PhD in Earth Sciences. His main research areas include deep-water sedimentology and paleoceanography, with focus on bottom current sedimentary systems under tectonic influence, his research areas include Mediterranean and South China Sea. Under the guidance of F. Javier Hernández-Molina at The Drifters Research Group, his PhD thesis is about the evolution of the Late Miocene contourite depositional system in the Gulf of Cadiz, through interpretation of seismic surveys and correlation with drilling information to reveal bottom current circulation and water mass exchange of the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and their implications for the Messinian salinity crisis. Research results are published in Marine and Petroleum Geology, Marine Geology, and Geo-Marine Letters.
